A dark fantasy anthology with New York Times bestselling authors Kim Harrison, Melissa Marr, Jeaniene Frost, Vicki Pettersson and Jocelynn Drake coming in August 25, 2009.

Kim Harrison reveals a hidden adventure, as Jenks and Bis investigate a strange haunting...and find far more than they ever expected. Melissa Marr delivers her first adult story, featuring a young woman struggling to escape the supernatural fate of her family. Jeaniene Frost goes to New Orleans, where Bones must face down a ruthless pair of serial killers, while Vicki Pettersson returns to Sin City and the war between Light and Shadow, and one man's fight for his soul. Jocelynn Drake's tale is set in Savannah, where a strange murder calls the balance between human and nightwalker into question.

This is the sorta sequel to Prom Dates from Hell (Cabot, Harrison, Meyer, Myracle, Jaffe). It's a collection of YA authors' take on supernatural romance. It will feature Scott Westerfeld, Justine Larbalestier, Gabrielle Zevin, & Laurie Faria Stolarz.

My story is a selchie tale that--like the novels--is rooted in folklore but with a bit of a modern twist. Unlike the novels, it's a straight-up romance.

"Pixie on a Pin," Flytrap 4 (May 2005).

This received an HM in Year's Best Horror & Fantasy 2005). This one is a bit darker too. Art, horror, choices, & facades . . . This is one of the texts that I've been most pleased with on a personal level.

"Blessed Woman" Shadowed Realms (Dec 2004; reprinted in The Book of Shadows Anthology Dec 2006)

This one is darker than the rest of what's listed here. The narrator (un)willingly chooses being consumed from the inside in pursuit of truth and knowledge. Rumour has it that it's disturbed.

My only story ever for the under 12 crowd is out now. My daughter & I used to read Cricket together, so getting a story in there was a goal of mine. Wicked Lovely started out as a story calling "The Sleeping Girl" that was requested for revision for Cricket. I did two revisions--but they ultimately declared it "too mature."

Seven months later, in 2005, I wrote "Winter's Kiss" & sent it in.

A year later, Summer 2006, I rec'd a letter accepting my story.

A year and half later, it's out. Here's the cover of the December 2007 issue . . . a girl breathing winter into existence . . .

"DECEMBER 2007 ISSUE-- Features include: Winter's Kiss, Ice Skating at Night, The Raven's Borcade, Cricket Readers Recommend, Saoire's Story, Lace, Beyond the Twilight Zone, Luminarias, Frosted Fire, Winter, With Just One Hand, Cello, Pick a Pickle, Converstaion at Chanukah, Gregor and the Sheep, Zoloushka the Ash Girl" (SOURCE: Their Site)
